The Head of Architecture we need is naturally a designer that is excited about working on unique projects. This self-starter will excel in a fast-paced environment and find satisfaction in the progress of each project. Each day this individual will have the opportunity to manage a highly driven team of designers, as well as collaborating with a detailed Construction team and a progressive Interior Design team all while being supported by a strong administrative staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of residential and commercial projects, ensuring their successful completion.

  • Manage and coordinate a team of architects, engineers, and other professionals involved in project development.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects, fostering their professional growth and development.

  • Ensure that all projects comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to address project requirements and resolve any issues that may arise.

  • Utilize strong organizational skills to track deadlines, monitor project progress, and ensure timely project delivery.

  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork among team members.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a licensed architect, with a proven track record of managing and delivering architectural projects.

  • Proficiency in Revit and construction document software.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, fostering a positive work environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors.

  • Extensive knowledge of engineering coordination, county approvals, and construction detailing.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
